Welcome to First Light Farm of the Sandhills. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website, registration for events, and participation in our offerings, including equine-facilitated learning, life coaching, individual sessions, workshops, retreats, yoga classes, and other farm gatherings.

By using this website, booking a session, registering for an event, or participating in an offering, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please take a moment to read them carefully. If you have any questions, please reach out to us.

1. Services & Offerings

First Light Farm of the Sandhills offers experiences designed to support personal growth, self-awareness, connection, and reflection through the wisdom of horses, the natural world, and intentional practices.

Our offerings may include:

  • Individual equine-facilitated learning and life coaching sessions

  • Coaching packages and multi-session experiences

  • Workshops and retreats

  • Seasonal gatherings and special events

  • Yoga classes and other wellness offerings

Our services are intended to create space for personal exploration, reflection, and growth.

Important Distinction:
Equine-facilitated learning and life coaching are not psychotherapy, mental health counseling, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional healthcare. While these experiences may support personal insight and emotional awareness, they are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure mental health conditions or medical concerns.

Participation does not guarantee any specific outcome or result.

2. Participation & Personal Responsibility

Participation in sessions, events, and activities at First Light Farm is voluntary.

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and mental well-being throughout your experience.

  • You are encouraged to communicate any concerns, limitations, or needs that may affect your participation.

  • You may choose to pause or step away from an activity at any time.

  • You agree to participate respectfully and follow the guidance and instructions provided by the facilitator.

  • You understand that personal growth and learning are individual experiences, and results will vary.

First Light Farm reserves the right to modify or discontinue an activity if it is determined that doing so is necessary for the safety or well-being of participants, horses, or others present.

3. Scheduling & Attendance

Scheduling

Sessions, packages, classes, and events may be scheduled through the website, online booking system, or by contacting First Light Farm directly.

Available dates, times, and offerings are subject to change.

Attendance

  • Please arrive on time for your scheduled session or event.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that life happens, and sometimes plans need to change.

Please provide at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an individual session.

  • Cancellations made with sufficient notice may be rescheduled without penalty.

  • Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the session fee or package session.

Events, Workshops & Retreats

Cancellation and refund policies may vary by event. Any specific cancellation terms, deposits, or refund conditions will be communicated at the time of registration.

Weather-Related Cancellations

Because many activities take place outdoors, weather may affect scheduled sessions and events.

If weather or environmental conditions make it unsafe or unsuitable to proceed, First Light Farm may cancel, reschedule, or modify the activity.

Participants will be notified of any changes as soon as reasonably possible. If First Light Farm cancels an activity due to weather, participants will be offered a rescheduled session, credit, or refund as appropriate to the specific offering.

Cancellations by First Light Farm

If First Light Farm needs to cancel or reschedule a session or event, participants will be notified as soon as possible. Any applicable refund or rescheduling options will be communicated directly.

5. Fees & Payment

Fees

All session, package, class, and event prices will be listed on the website or communicated directly before registration.

Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will not affect registrations already confirmed.

Payment

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.

  • Some offerings may require a deposit or advance payment.

  • Payments may be processed through the website's online payment system.

  • Multi-session packages and class passes must be purchased in advance.

  • Package sessions and class passes are subject to the terms outlined at the time of purchase.

Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the specific offering and its cancellation policy. Certain deposits, packages, or event registrations may be nonrefundable, as disclosed at the time of booking.
